What is the Direct Commission timeline of events?

This question is for anyone who received a Direct Commission, either in 2018, or in recent years. In October 2018, I was notified of my selection to become a 72D, Environmental Science and Engineering Officer (I'm presently a MSG in the Air Force). I began trying to piece a timeline of events (my recruiter was somewhat helpful) of how things would progress from there. I've narrowed it down to: 1) Notified of selection (October); 2) Sign the DA71, Oath (December); 3) Orders will drop (Feb); 4) Attend the DCC course (June-ish).
My question is: for those who joined the Army via direct commission (notably AMEDD officers), did your timeline flow along those lines? I'm at the stage where I'm awaiting orders, and attempting to gauge a rough timeline of what happens next for planning purposes.
Thanks in advance!

Have you received your orders yet? I just signed my DA71 and swore in a few weeks ago, and am now awaiting my orders. I signed up for Active Duty as well.

Thank you so much for the detailed information! I have been trying to find out the pathway, so to speak, of my packet. I hope you hear back soon!

I am currently an active duty 72D but I commissioned so long ago it isn't relevant - the only really useful piece of advice I have is get into 6A-F5/6 as soon as you can. It is goingto set you up for success not on as a EESO but also for promotion past Captain.

MAJ Abeita,
What were the primary items/schools/degrees, etc, you needed to have in place before being considered for promotion to Major?

I just direct commissioned for the USAGPAN program for 66f nurse anesthesia. Board selection was in September for USAGPAN/Baylor then October for Army officer board. Swore in in November. Scroll/orders in December. Reported to Fort Sam Jan 11. DCC Feb 3-Mar 4, BOLC immediately after till mid May. School starts in June. 1 year didactic phase 1, 2 year clinical phase 2, 5 year payback. So 8 year total commitment.

CPT (Join to see) - I got notify my recruiter and I got selected. What is the next step will be and when do i take an oath? what is scroll mean? My recruiter said we have to wait scroll. The rank on selection memo is 1LT. It will change on order to 2LT? Because the consultant comment is I need 1 year constructive credit to become 1LT. But the board list come out is 1LT.
