I do not understand the thought pattern behind making a online course through MarineNet a "PME requirement". Everyone knows what is going to happen, google becomes your best friend and/or your peers in the room get together and do it! I find it a little disturbing that is what the Marine Corps has come to for requirements for promotion.
I understand that in the MOS Road map it says minimum requirement is 8010, but truthfully who has been promoted with only the bare minimum?

SGT,
I have seen it many years ago when the services, ARMY, USMC, AF leading up to DS needed more and more leaders, it happened then although it was written and not computerized, there was answer sheets floating around for many proficiency tests and promotion exams like candy, it did get the numbers they wanted, but many were not prepared and ended up being RIF'd during the 90s because of shortcomings.
This is just a new version that I think will have somewhat the similar effect in the end.
