A student snuck into North Korea from China expecting to be arrested. I want to know exactly what made hime think that this was a good idea. Would you do it?

I would not even sneak into South Korea so why would I sneak into North. There is nothing there for me so no I would not.

Would you illegally enter North Korea?

I doubt it. That would be incredibly risky. If I had family there I suppose it might be worth the effort.

Heck no! Only reason I could think is...stupidity. I mean, if you wanted 3 hots and a cot I guess you could get arrested in a different country but I couldn't imagine the North Koreans would have a better prison system than china.

Not unless somebody ordered me to. This guy's lucky this got publicity because if they could have swept it under the rug, he never would have been heard from again.

I'd rather walk into the propeller. Much cleaner and swifter way out.

Why would anyone want to go to dear leader's land? I guess they will learn the "virtues" of the communist state.
