I'm currently still serving my first term in the army with about 6 months left. I haven't really been able to find a solid answer that pertains to this. I'm currently an 11B but want to go into an intelligence field in the AF.

You will have to talk with an Air Force Recruiter. As long as your ASVAB scores are good and there are opening then it should not be an issue.

OSI in the Air Force is the same as CID in the Army. They do criminal investigations, not Intel work

There are 5 different enlisted Intel jobs available in the AF- Operations, Geospatial, Signals, Network, and Cryptologic.

There are a couple of kinds of intelligence in the AF; one is the OSI, the other one has to do with interpreting information from the field.

I was just wondering...associates? Bachelor's? Major or majors? Grades and/or GPA so far as you might want to elaborate? What is your object ultimately? Senior enlisted? Since you're wanting USAF, I'm supposing not necessarily warrant, though I'd be curious if you'd thought about that aspect at all? Commissioned? I might he able to suggest some assignment possibilities, as well, if they might interest you, I don't want to overwhelm, I just have an interest in career/education questions, I'm total perm disabled, so time jamgs quite heavily for my wife and myself, I get on here and try to chat a good deal....

If you’re every bored and want to entertain some serious questions from a lower enlisted trying to figure out my next career move, I have some questions on how to get where I want to be, that no one seems to be able to answer or help guide me on.

Certainly, NY all !eans...I'm sorry if my approach might at times seem a trifle stereotyped, I've just gotten accustomed to trying to elicit more info in the fashion you saw, as I guess that's just the way I've been conditioned to think, however, by all means, I tend to gravitate as you may have observed to career/educ questions, so, of course, please feel free to elaborate so far as tour care to, and I'll obv try to do whatever I can to try to suggest various aporoaches, honest, no rush, whenever you've got time, I just always explain that the more I'm told, or that others on Jere are told, I've typically found we have more to think about in tryingnto find various options, that:s all, however, please feel free to relate whatever you'd wish, in any fashion you'd prefer, certainly, I'd obv welcome the intellectual stimulus, of course, many thanks....

Sorry for typos, I'd had ophthalmic surgery fairly recently, plus, the keyboard and spell check on the tablet I typically use aren't the greatest, I can get on our PC, however, I just find the tablet more convenient, ordinarily....
