Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to address a joint session of Congress tomorrow. Will his address have an impact on US Mideast policy and the Administration's efforts to reach a nuclear arms agreement with Iran?

It will not make a difference to Obama. He is hell bent on getting a bad deal with Iran. He is the king of bad deals. For those of you concerned about foreign leaders and dignitaries speaking to a joint session on Congress it has happened 114 times in our history. This is nothing new.
Below is a list of all of them. We had one as recently as September 18th of 2014 (President of Ukraine, you know the guy getting whacked by the Russians that we refuse to provide any arms to defend themselves). This one was done without much fanfare.
Because this is Bebe who will make Obama look like the clueless clown that he is on the international stage, this one has become a big deal. Obama doesn't want you to see what a real world leader that understands the threats in the world looks like. He will pale in comparison.

It is really simple, protocol in Washington DC is document so it is followed. There should be a manual, a paper, a document, a brochure, something. I have gone looking for it and cannot find it. You keep referencing it but cannot produce it.
Do you know how many world leaders have addressed a joint session of congress? I assume you are an Obama supporter because you are trying to make a point in support of him being jilted with zero proof it actually happened or there is anything that proves he was treated incorrectly.

MAJ Keith Benoit . Well why didn't you say your teacher told you so. Well then, it should be very easy for your professor to point to a protocol document that states all invitations to a head of state to speak before a joint session of Congress must come from the White House. We have protocol officers all over the government (D State Dept, House, Senate etc) so if something exists it would have been produced wouldn't you think?
If you are hanging your hat on the "it is unwritten protocol" then feel free but unwritten protocol is not protocol at all. Your baseball anology doesn't work either. There are reasons during a no hitter in the 9th inning you would bunt to win a game. (pitcher with no hitter going walks a batter in the bottom of the 9th, you are down 1-0 or tied 0-0, you need to move the runner to second to get him iin scoring position, the bunt is on).
I'd like some prood that al 114 of those invitations come from the Executive Branch. Even the White House admitted that "typically" the invitation to speak comes from the Executive Branch. Typically does not equal always.
You have presented the argument that you cannot back up. I have only counter argued that there is no requirement, law or protocol that you insists exists. You've offered nothing but hearsay from your professor and a baseball anology.

Try reading the protocols that are listed in the State Department duties in reference to invitations to foreign dignitaries. See, we really do have a way to do these things. It is not about what one person wants, it is about what is happening in the big picture.
Congress does not write the presidents schedule or have the authority to change state department protocols without review. Sorry, that is just the way it is. This is also so our country can make arrangements for safety, non-conflict with other activities and the list goes on. He only wanted to be with the lower levels of govt. that is all he got.
The people of Israel, the ones that vote for him, they are not happy, unlike the United States, they really can publish and speak freely in their news in the arena of politics. They are not controlled by money like here.

Why do Democrats and liberals hate Jews and Christians? Yet, they will invite our enemies people like the Hajji brotherhood?
In the last six years I have seen nothing but a tenfold attempt to persecute Christians and Jews. No, our government is not cutting heads off, but it seems like they attempt to make it our fault with the propaganda, of the things happening in the Middle East.
All this mess is because of three people slick Hillary, Kerry, and the executive branch of the administration.
They are trying to tell us Iran will not have the bomb but yet in 10 years in their paperwork that's exactly what they'll do. I get so tired of we have to talk to them, talk died on 9/11

I voted you down because you started by speaking for all and you do not represent me or my views and most certainly not all of my generation. I can never understand why everyone hates listiening to FOX news.....why would you be mad at someone telling you the truth....Let me guess Maj Benoit.....you against the cop in MO that was saved by the Justice Department the other day. And it shows his stories were right and true. I can tell you this, that Great American, that cop, would have been slammed and put underneath the jail in Missouri if it wasn't for Fox news in their reporting. And if it wasn't for Fox news, we would never hear anything about Benghazi, fast and furious, the blessed people in Chicago being held hostage in their own home from crime, you would have never heard about these illegal emails that were used by slick Hillary. You would never know a lot of the news.

Yes I watch Fox News, but I mostly read my newspaper and listen to the radio or ESPN. Maybe it's fair to say that conservatives and patriots in America are little bit more informed than the news you listen to :-)
