What would you do with the $1B Nazi gold train claimed to be found in Poland?

I would try to get it to those Jewish families whose relatives were killed in the concentration camps as retribution! The problem is, there aren't many relatives living today!

RP Members what would you do with it?

I would sell it and start a fund for poor Jewish kids to pay for their medical expenses and other needs who were injured by extremist Islamic terrorists in Israel.

I would use it to:
1. find all forgotten Jews of the world and ship them back to Israel, and build them an affordable housing
2. tear down as many projects as I can in America

I would pay off what I owe and get my family what they want.

I too would try and find the families who it belongs to (if there's even any way to verify it belongs to them) and return it.
Barring that, I would give it to some type of Jewish Holocaust Survivors organization.

I'd find a way to buy low cost housing for all of our homeless brothers and sisters across the country. Far to many soldiers sacrifice it all, to return and find there civilian lives in shambles. No where to turn but a bridge or a ditch. They deserve more than that. I know that feeling. When i got out i had nowhere to go and ended up living in a shed in a friends backyard for a year until i could get back on my feet. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a friend willing to do something to help. A bed and a safe place can have a big impact on morale amd could like help them get back on track to leading a life worthy of the sacrifices they have made.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs I like your idea, but I'd add: set some amount aside in order to fund recovering all the priceless art that was stolen throughout the wars.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - Mikel; [1] Return identifiable items to the families involved. (Which would probably involve selling them and dividing the cash.) and [2] set up an incredibly huge international (available to all regardless of country of origin/residence and tenable at any "post-secondary" educational institution that will accept them) scholarship fund for ALL aspects of "post-secondary" education for anyone even remotely connected to the original owners using the remainder.

Give the money back to the families. The Nazis did a lot of damage to Europe that may never be repaired. Plundered art, manuscripts, artifacts and money from the millions that they killed.
