Sgt Kelli Mays this is cruel and mean! No respect for society. Ignorance is defiantly in this situation.

Atlantic City man arrested after posting Facebook video of him punching woman
ATLANTIC CITY — Facebook isn't always your friend, an Atlantic City man has learned.

No man shall put his hands on a woman. Unless she is about to harm him or endanger his life, then he had no right to do that. That stuff pisses me off. I see videos of students beating up their teacher, etc, it's just disturbing how much disrespect and hatred our society has.

First of all, these videos always make me a little sad. With all the violence I have seen and participated in (as an act of war), I can't believe the lack of respect that everyday people have for each other.
I have a tendency to be a little more on the preemptive than reactive side. With that many people sitting around, I am amazed that not a single person stood up and at least said something. That said, their probably wasn't anyone brave enough to stand up and lead the crowd to do what they probably believe is right, but won't put to action because of their fear.
Enlisting the crowd to get the numbers on our side would be the smartest and safest move for all involved. A single, one on one, confrontation would easily turn into a wilding.
In any case, this is a perfect example of what happens with good people do nothing: Evil prevails.

It's easy to say "If I had of been there I would have..." The truth is, I don't know what I would have done... This video is about gun control... What if I pulled out my 9 in defense of this woman, and they pulled out several Gloc's? (Lots of people in the area will be shot) Or what if I stand up to the two a$$holes and didn't see the other 5? (Hey, I'm 51... They will definitely stomp a mud hole in my a$$) People do dumb-sh*t like this because they have an ace up their sleeves and if you confront them and they can't beat you, you get shot (knives, bats, rocks etc may come into play first)... If you pull out a weapon you and others get shot, if you decide to shoot first because you know what is going to happen to this woman, you get arrested for assault & possible manslaughter because the laws protect these a$$holes too... So... what would I have done? Well watching this, I would have definitely been the hero!!! But if I were actually there? Well, now... That's a different color, and it would quickly depend on which of the consequences I would be willing to accept, and hope for the best... After all, there is a reason everyone is sitting around doing nothing... And,? the A$$hole still ended up in jail... Just something more to think about...

Sgt Kelli Mays - While nobody can accurately say what they would do in that situation, I would like to think that I would have taken action to prevent it. I think I would have stepped in and stopped the harassment and I am pretty sure I would certainly have jumped in and taken him down if I saw him hit her.
The good news is that he was identified, arrested, and charged with assault. Hopefully, the judge will throw the book at him and lock him up for a long time. If there is any justice in the world, he will be smacked in the face every time he gets up.

Capt (Join to see) I was thinking the same thing Sir. What a shame that something likes this happens and people just sit around as if nothing happened.

What bothers me about this video is that people saw the harassment and no one took any action. I'm not sure how it is suppose to be a argument for gun control.

I commented on facebook about this already, but for you RPers out there -
The stunning thing to me is NO ONE ELSE EVEN BUDGES. No one tries to help this woman as she is lying there. No one tries to calm down the punk that hit her. Camera guy thinks this is funny...
All we need for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
