SSG (Join to see) Did you guess correctly? A rather different challenge for an 11 B! Senator Tom Cotton at 6 feet 5 inches did three tours at Ft Myer. His book Sacred Duty contained interesting details. Amazon Videos has ‘HONOR GUARD’, a four part video describing some of the details about newbies in the unit.

If not, either way, whether you go to 1/3 or 4/3 it is pretty much D&C and Funerals, unless you volunteered for the Honor Guard Company.
On their official pages, command of B Co 1/3 and A Co 4/3 like to put a little emphasis on their availability to "Assist with CBRN operations, conduct area security operations, and control civil disturbances in support of the Military District of Washington’s defense to the National Capital Region." While saying they also conduct "Joint and Army ceremonies and funerals in support of the Military District of Washington."
The other Infantry companies, (We can assume you aren't headed to RSC) put their emphasis in describing themselves on "ceremonies and funerals" first, and "deploying on orders, into theater, to defeat enemy forces in support of the war on terror" second.
