What is a good AAM bullet for a soldier participating in the post combatives tournament making to the second round?

SPC _____ dedication and personal fortitude allowed him to participate in the Fort ____ combatives tournament. He used Army training to better himself and build unit cohesiveness. He dedicated great amounts of time to ensure his training was top notch and he would be able to compete against his peers.
Now let's start to quantify the bullet -
You said he was the only one in the BN to make it to the post level. How many in the Battalion tried out?
Quickly separated himself from his peers by being selected to compete out of __ Battalion Soldiers.
Now how many in the Brigade tried?
You can use the same thought process to build a bigger bullet if you focus on the Brigade level.
Talk about his drive, determination, dedication, resourcefulness, mentality and other aspects that would help elevate him through the tournament. Chances are you have the bullet already you just need to work it all together.
Once you write it walk away for an hour and get your mind off of it. Once you have thought of other tasks go back to your bullet. Chances are you will tweak it and change some things. Do this about 5-6 times and it will be a very well written bullet.

His/her mental and physical toughness allowed him to battle his way into the semi finals where he finished in second place in his weight class. </p><p> </p><p> </p>

Is this the Second round of the finals (Semi Finals) just the Second of 15 rounds?
This will determine how the bullet will be presented... Is he still in the tourniment?
Alot more information is needed.

He got to the semi finals the only in the battalion that went to represent on a post tournament. The tournament is done already

what i understand is he finished in the Battalion Semi Finals... then went on to compete in the post Tournament and made it to the second round.
