Funny you ask this question. I get all my health care through the VA, my doctor, physiatrist, pills, everything, but not my dental. Dont ask me why, I don't know. So I had to go out and get my own coverage. What a pain in the ass. I found that they are mostly the same, depending on your deductible. All the plans I looked into had waiting periods for the major stuff, the stuff I need done of course. I pay 72. dollars a month and my deductible is nil. I really didn't have a plan on how to go about looking for a dental plan but I finally figured out what I needed.

I’m not covered for dental but I got a clerk at VA to get me on priority list at Univ Mi. I had to pay for the cleaning, like $35 .. no big deal, I just duludn’t wanT to wait 8 mo at the school. I pulled it off 3 times got fillings too. That was $35.. a filling.. Even though I paid I got chewed on for cheating the wait time.. the clerk didn’t let me cheat Any Vets just the welfare leeches the taxpayers were paying for.. my Chewing came from D.C. when Social services found out. They were not happy campers . The clerk got moved temporary for about a month.. U of Mi. Gave me park’g vouchers so that’s like $8 off my dental. visits Each time. $24.. total ..
