One of the best resources would be to use Gale Onefile: War and Terrorism* which provides access to more than 1.7 million articles on the causes of war and terrorism and those impacts on a global scale.

All MWR eligible individuals* can access it through https://dodmwrlibraries.org/ for free. If you don't have access, the odds are in your favor that if you are at a college/university or have a large public library system in your area, that they will have a subscription that you'll be able to access them through it.

Do some research, different news agencies and make that determination yourself. You can search the internet just as well as the rest of us. You're a Staff Sergeant, you should be the one able to look things up and make judgements for yourself. From your post, it doesn't show any initiative to find the answers yourself. What is the best? Only you can determine that for what is best for youl

SGM Mikel Dawson, I agree with your premise that too many who have the ability to research it themselves want others to hand them an answer.

However, I'm pretty sure that the Chief Community Officer for RallyPoint was posting this as an "of interest to the community" Question to generate a discussion of various resource that researchers could use rather than for his own personal edification.

COL Randall C. - I agree. He is likely just trying to get a conversation started on a very timely subject.
