What are some options to help me get out early enough to make the fall semester?

Hi all, so as far as I know the school drop allows up to 90 days prior and 10 days before the semester start date. My ETS and DEROS are both December 19th of this year. 90 days before then is September 19th which is still not gonna cut it, I would need 14 more days. Is this something I can make up with my ETS leave balance or am I just out of luck? People have varying opinions on this in saying that your leave is used with the adjusted ETS to get you out earlier while others say the army gives you 90 days and you can use your leave on top of that. Any insight or knowledge would be great, thank you.

Opinions are irrelevant, the answer is right in the regulation, AR 635-200.

December 19, especially with ETS leave, sounds like a reasonable time to get out for the Spring semester. I got out last November, and started a program in January. Is there a reason you can't start in the Spring? Why do you want to start in the Fall? I understand wanting to get out as soon as you can.
I have generally heard that you cannot combine leave with an early separation. If your Commander has heard the same, you're probably out of luck, even if it is wrong. Just get out in December, sell your leave, and start in January.
And pay attention to BAH and scholarships and such. See if the Post 9/11 GI Bill makes sense for you. I'm on an academic scholarship, so if I were using the Post 9/11 I'd just get BAH and the book allowance. Using the plussed up Montgomery GI Bill makes a difference of a few hundred dollars per month.

Have you checked if your university has any blended format classes or online classes available? May not be ideal, but might be an option for your first semester.
