What are some of the best duty stations in the Army for 11B?

I'm currently at my first duty station and looking for my next one. The most important deciding factor is that I'm trying to deploy, but of course I don't want to end up in a shitty unit with poor leadership. I'm leaning toward Campbell or Bragg, but I've heard mixed reviews of both. What are your thoughts?

The single best 1st Duty station for a new 11B or any 11 series MOS is where you are assigned.
Sure Alaska, Hawaii, Forts Bragg and Campbell would make great 1st duty stations. But what makes your first duty station a great place is you.

I'm actually shopping around for my second duty station. I'm mostly looking for a unit that is still deploying regularly and currently has a decent command climate.

CPL (Join to see) same with follow on assignments.
I was commissioned 7 Dec 1979. When got to IOBC the Chief of Staff spoke to us green ass 2LTs on Career enhancing Assignments.
He told us that all assignments were career enhancing. One Smart Ass stood and said that " Marrying your daughter would be Career Enhancing!" The Chief of Staff with out batting an eye, "You Loose; she's already Married!"

Hello, SPC Chinquee. I will do my best to help you. I am not infantry, but I have work with them. If you want your best chances to deploy you need to go to Germany, Fort Bragg, NC , Fort Drum, NY, Fort Campbell, KY, Fort Hood , TX and Schofield Barracks, HI. You are infantry so you will be stationed at the Infrantry Division. Now, as for the leadership you can't judge unit bases on their location. The reason is that leadership come in go at duty station. The person that said that place had toxic leadership there while there was there , then that leadership is more than likely wont be there anymore. You should keep in mind that people PCS all the time on the military no matter what rank you are. So, when you go to one of these places you may have great leadership while there. I hope this help and best of luck to you in your career.

Thanks for the input. I'm actually at Schofield Barracks right now, and the last time an infantry brigade has deployed from here was in 2012. And I understand that leadership changes, I guess I'm mostly looking for someone who is currently stationed at one of those units that still deploys frequently who can comment on the current command climate.

I came from Hood. The only unit that legitimately deploys there is 2CR. I got lucky when I was there and got a “combat deployment”. Do not go to Germany. 10th MTN, 82nd or 101 would probably be your best bet if you’re chasing a deployment. 4th ID as well.

82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne are your best options. I can't promise that they will deploy or that brigade. My advice is talk to your branch manager or someone from that unit. I don't know if you want to go this route ,but you can reenlist for the National Guard because they have a website called Tour of Duty that let you look at assignments and sometimes they have deployments on there. You wont deployed to your unit that are assigned to ,but if you want to deployed individual to a different unit that is there you can tried that. I hope this help.
