PFC (Join to see) it was a lot of fun. Every Army from NATO sent some people they even let the French send people. It was 5 days and every day you got land nav with stops along the way for different comman tasks. Everyone had some kind of alcohol it was a five day party you had to walk to every day. Once we had walked the whole morning have a few drinks along the way. The last stop was at a guest house we had more drinks then we were herded out back to a shooting range. It was a great week.

I'd been supposed to have gone there at one point, though I'd switched out...I often wish I'd had the chance to have seen it, a cousin of my Mom had been Army armor stationed there many yrs ago, I recall....

Man...that list is endless. There are TONS of places of historical significance to see. The city of Trier for example. There are still Roman ruins there. The Frankenstein family has like 5 castles to visit. There is Oktoberfest. There is Wine Fest. The Mosel River region is beautiful. Soooooo so much to do.

SSG, while these are great tourist spots, I'm looking more for events that test skill and ability, like the nijmegen and norwegian foot march, or the Schützenschnur.

Trier was awesome, we went there for our head start class. So much history and beautiful.
We stayed at the Scandic Crown with a room overlooking the traffic circle not the Mosel River, still cool.
