I was pleasantly surprised in my latest email from the VA that there is a whole set of programs to help veterans become farmers and bee-keepers. I like it when something good comes out of our bureacracy!

Thank you @Wesley McGlory for being here, thank you for your service and for your question. The process for your spouse starts once the office has received your application. (link to application: https://www.va.gov/find-forms/about-form-10-10d) In addition, there are documents in which you can submit which would help speed up the processing of your application such as: DD214, Documents related to any dependent children you're including in your application, copy of each child's birth certificate, and school certification of enrollment for children 18-23.
