Because of our American military Veterans, we are afforded the freedoms that make America great. Each U.S. military Veteran has taken the Oath of Enlistment and has pledged to put their lives on the line for our country and for our rights. Unfortunately, Veterans are subject to progressive illnesses directly related to their military service such as chronic pain and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Of the approximately 20 million Veterans currently in the United States today, 50% are receiving care at Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facilities across the country for chronic pain. An estimated 15 to 35% of those Veterans living with chronic pain, also have PTSD. After adjusting for differences in age and sex, risk for suicide is 22% higher among U.S. Veterans when compared to U.S. non-Veteran adults.
Burdened by suicidal thoughts, a 33-year-old Veteran from Minnesota, committed suicide in his car parked in the lot of his local VA emergency department after being discharged in February of 2018. Mental health and suicidal thoughts are huge issues amongst the U.S. Veteran community. Being a Veteran owned company, MaxifyLife recognizes the importance of taking care of our Veterans and service members. Under the leadership of MaxifyLife’s Director of Veteran Affairs, Vincent Crowley, MaxifyLife regularly tours the United States educating healthcare professionals at VHA facilities about the potential therapeutic effects of CBD derived from hemp and teaming up with advocates to provide guidance and assistance to the Veteran community regarding navigating the CBD market and identifying pure, high quality nutraceutical products.
It is important to note that not all cannabis-users are seeking a recreational high. In fact, several U.S. service members are actively seeking a convenient form of cannabis-based nutraceuticals that provide therapeutic relief without the cognitive dysfunction. Cognitive dysfunction after consuming cannabis, more specifically marijuana (not hemp) is caused by the cannabinoid, THC. As a direct result, more and more U.S. Veterans are turning to CBD (the abbreviation for cannabidiol) derived from hemp. Within the past five years, CBD tinctures, vapes, creams, drinks, etc. have grown increasingly popular within the health and wellness sector. The CBD market has been predicted to be set for monumental growth by several reputable sources which have in turn attracted a host of manufacturers bringing a variety of CBD products to the market. With this variety comes a lot of quality and purity unknowns: consistency, accuracy of cannabinoid panel concentration(s), sustainability, whether or not the products are free of toxins, and how bioavailable the formulas truly are.
MaxifyLife recognized the difficulty for your average consumer to identify CBD products derived from hemp that are free of toxins, free of THC, bioavailable, and are accurately labeled based on the specific batch and lot derived cannabinoid panel concentrations. What’s more concerning is the vulnerability of health-compromised and resource-limited communities like the Veteran and rare disease communities in identifying and accessing quality CBD products derived from hemp. Thus, the development of the MaxifyLife Stamp of Approval.
Is your CBD MaxifyLife Approved?
The MaxifyLife Stamp of Approval can be found on all MaxifyLife Approved products. MaxifyLife Approved products are the best wellness options available on the market for those who seek a THC-free, pure, sustainable, high quality and non-psychoactive source of cannabis medicine.
A primary mission of MaxifyLife is to provide guidance on which hemp-based CBD products currently in the marketplace are high quality and therapeutic. Before receiving MaxifyLife Approval, each product must pass rigorous testing. Once a product has proven to be accurately labeled, pure and free of toxins, we conduct additional testing to determine the therapeutic potential of each product amongst members of the rare disease and U.S. Veteran communities. We then take the products that receive MaxifyLife Approval, one step further. We develop agreements and understandings with the companies that manufacture these quality products to distribute them to the market at competitive prices, through programs that support the research and advocacy efforts of the rare disease and U.S. Veteran communities.
As a general rule of thumb, if you have incorporated CBD into your health regimen, be sure to consult with your doctor about your use of CBD and use MaxifyLife Approved CBD products to ensure that you are consuming pure, high quality hemp-based CBD nutraceuticals.
Why CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) derived from hemp, also known as “hemp extract”, has been found to help patients manage a variety of symptoms as an alternative option to palliative care. Several patients suffering from chronic pain conditions, along with corroboration from their caregivers, have reported consuming less opioids to manage their daily pain levels after adding CBD to their regimen and have reported overall higher qualities of life. U.S. Veterans incorporating CBD into their daily regimen have reported reduced panic attacks, and less overall anxiety. Several U.S. Veterans have also reported significant improvement in the overall behavior and wellbeing of their service animals once incorporating CBD into their daily meal. Please note that these reports are patient-reported and are considered anecdotal data and that MaxifyLife Approved products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Therefore, MaxifyLife Approved products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Given the substantial growing evidence of the therapeutic effects of hemp-derived nutraceuticals, MaxifyLife is determined to serve and offer guidance to communities in need of alternative holistic solutions. When I feel intense anxiety, I go for a walk, tell myself everything will be OK, and reiterate everything that I love in my life. That helps me.

I suffer from chronic pain, anxiety, and depression all from the pain I’m in daily. I don’t think about suicide(even though I have a few times in the past) because I know my life is worth living. I have four kids and a wife who needs me and I want to see them grow up. Veteran suicide numbers are way too high so we all need to check a buddy out as often as needed.

But as with any potential "cure all", it carries quite a few misconceptions, some lies, and even some truth. I am currently in pain management for chronic back pain, and will be for a long time! That said, my Pain Physician works closely with the DEA and has an IMPECABLE and UNIMPEACHABLE program. He prescribes and endorses CBD oil use. There are some big "howevers" that go with it though. He attended a national conference on it last summer. If you are employed by the Fed Gov, or a State Gov that tests, or any company the tests for drugs, there is NOT A SINGLE manufacturer that can guarantee you will not pop positive for THC. Use it if you want, but be comfortable with the idea of playing russian roulette with your career. There are a lot of Internet "experts" who will say a lot of things like "big pharma" and "industrial medicine" are trying to suppress it because they want to keep patients sick enough to keep a cash flow generator. This is balderdash! My wife, Father, and many friends served in the medical field, and my best friend in life is a 30 year ER doctor. They love to debunk these myths. Now the internet "experts" will promise you the world. It is AMAZING all the unassociated illnesses that this product claims to fix. Pain management, sure. But, just like the snake oil salesmen of the late 19th century in America, the FIRST warning sign is how many things they claim to help. If you need to use it, and you wont be in jeopardy for doing so, give it a try, hell Imma try it when I retire. But not as a cure all. I will use it as prescribed by a COMPETANT physician...not as advertised by a charlatan! I kinda wish RP could screen out charlatans like this...

It’s not legal in Alabama yet and I don’t trust buying this product off the internet. I’m like you I want it to be prescribed by a competent doctor like my pain management doctor. He does do st cell but unfortunately insurance will not cover it and I cannot afford it.

I found one company that produces THC free CBD’s. Because my health, I no longer able to use most prescription medications due to liver/kidneys. I’m a spinal cord patient with damages to vertebrae’s, spinal cord fibers cut, scarred. Seriously damaged L-3 through L-6, plus entire neck from parachute accidents while serving.

SPC Jeff Knight - I am curious t know what company you found. According to the DEA and all of the CBD oil industry, there is no product currently available that is 100% thc free. Please do not get me wrong. I intend to try this treatment, but I WILL NEVER risk my livelihood based on some manufacturer (who all basically wants to sell their product) assuring me that it is thc free! By the way, I too have been fused from L-3 all the way down to the first Sacrum Vertebrae S-1. However, there is no L6 vertebrae in my spine and it is not recognized by the spine experts to exist. The Sacrum consists of five vertebrae that are naturally fused and begins with the L-5 to S-1 disk. If your spine expert is telling you info about your L6 vertebrae, I would recommend getting a second opinion. Also, please research ANY claim by the industry as to the purity of their CBD products, because I will repeat this one more time THERE IS NO REPUTABLE PROVIDER who will claim these products are thc free. good luck I truly wish you all the best and I hope that you get the relief and comfort that you need and so deeply deserve.

The product is ELIXINOL. I’ve seen the tech reports and scientific results of 100% no THC. Have shared with many who never tested positive and yes active MILITARY. CBD’s are natural anti-inflammatory for human and pet. Highly recommend you research.
