Usmc silkies
Marine corps silkies mortars

I rocked silkies until the Corps went away with them.  There are specific units that still authorize them for unit PT.

Are they eccentric?  Do you wear them?  Should they be brought back to the Corps? What are your thoughts?

There are some humorous pictures with silkies, but I'll wait for you to share!

Regardless of qualification, we call 'em "Ranger Panties".  Chicks dig 'em.  If they say they don't, they lie.  I'm pretty sure my old lady loves it when I lounge around the house in them, no matter what she says.  They go with any foot wear; deserts, jungles, Chuck Taylors, Tevas.  I'm about to go for a 40:00 trail run in mine.

WTH is a Silkies, Silk Skivies? LOL! I'm a sailor that has done a few trips to Asia I do have a couple Silk Kimonos but I think they would not take kindly to me wearing them at Morning Quarters.
