Should the USS Firebolt have veered off course to avoid a stopped Iranian fast attack vessel ?

The Captain of that vessel did what they needed to in order to ensure the safety of their ship and crew. However, they shouldn't have had to change course in the first place. It's probably a good thing I am not a naval Captain, because I really wouldn't want to change course. Either they will move or they will sink, either way win win lol
