A mother of two could be put to death tonight in Georgia.. She had her lover kill her husband several years ago.

If she is without a doubt guilty, and was found guilty by the jury, carry on. Not sure why it takes several years of the tax payers money to feed and shelter people on death row. The sooner the sentence is carried out the better. Save the tax payers the expense.

Her hired gun pled out so he wouldn't get the needle and testify against her. I don't care that he gets to live.
She, on the other hand, deserves everything she gets tonight. She could have pled out too, if only she had had the ovarian fortitude to kill her husband instead of farming it out.

Sgt Tom Cunnally, I do not purport to be an expert on trial law or to know judicial law that well, but she’s served 17 years, no? She did not actually commit the crime, yes? Her three children have forgiven her, no? She has many witnesses of her remorse and her former Warden is willing to testify that the state parole board chairman, James Donald, promised her clemency, no? So, why are we still talking about her impending execution?

Because there is a slim chance she may be pardoned by the SCOTUS but very slim according to the news flash on CNN an hour ago...MSG Robinson.. And we have those who are against the death penalty for various reasons and they may want to express their views..

SFC William Swartz Jr - Charles Manson should have been put to death. If his group would have committed the crimes in Texas or Florida (for example), instead of California, then he would have been sentenced to death and be long gone...

MSgt Donald G. you are probably correct in that fact except for that whole period where the death penalty everywhere was abolished and his sentence was commuted. Only reason I brought him up is for the fact that the murders he was convicted for, he actually didn't murder any of those slain in either the Tate or LaBianca cases, yet like the woman was convicted. Being I am from Florida I remember Old Sparky being well used in the 70's and 80's and am sure that he would have probably met his fate there as opposed to California.

NOPE, anybody, anyone proven without a doubt to have committed murder, regardless of age, gender, mental health or whatever else Criminal defense lawyers can come up with, ought to be put away.
