Do any of the other branches have something like it?
I was on Air Force Global Strike Command's First Order of the Sword committee and while a metric ton of work, it was really worth it to honor a leader of this caliber.

In the Army many regiments have their own awards to be given and the Department of Army has a few that you can input someone in for specialties.

This isn't like the branch type of award (Order of St Barbara for example). The Order of the Sword is the highest honor that the Enlisted Corp of a Major Command can bestow upon a leader.

There are "unofficial" awards presented by officer associations and I am sure NCO associations, but I am not familiar with official Department of the Army awards, but then again I am just an O-3 and not exposed to those types of awards. It can be hard enough to get a simple award a Soldier.
