It can't be water -- they already know it's abundant. It's not likely to be life, because life would be microbial, and I'm not sure they have the equipment to detect that on the surface yet. So...what do you think?

Whatever it is, I'm excited and will be watching!

It may be where Mars candy bars originated SN Greg Wright :-)
I expect it may be timed with an IPO to announce a major government-commercial partnership to build a snack bar with vending machines of Mars products :-)
Greek Ares versus Roman Mars - after all what is a name?

Capt Seid Waddell I might be wrong Captain, but I think they understand that pretty well -- low gravity combined with no magnetosphere (that would mitigate the solar winds) AND constant impacts blowing it out into space (abetted by the lower gravity).

NASA to announce they've solved a 'Major Mars mystery' on Monday. What do you think it is?

I'm also thinking they will reveal further evidence of life on Mars. Possibly even humanoid?

SSgt Alex Robinson That can't be it, SSgt. They already know Mars has plenty of water. Unless you mean -flowing- water. Now. THAT would be something, indeed.

MSgt (Join to see) I'm afraid I can't agree with you on this one. No other organization in the history of mankind has contributed so much to the quality of life for people the world over, as NASA. Add in the fact that if we don't get off this rock within a few centuries, we're going to kill it and....*Shrugs*. I'd be ok with taking all the money we're spending on people overseas who don't want us around, and giving it all to NASA.
