Missouri is attempting to keep and Illinois is attempting to lure away the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.

Tucked away in St. louis is the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. The mapping agency has been a mainstay of St. Louis for many years. Illinois is now trying to lure it away from St. Louis, through the offer of a land tract. This has gotten the attention of politicians and economic development leaders.

CPT (Join to see) My brother works there. I don't see anyway they move, even if they do, I can't see employees moving to higher taxes.

Good read ma'am, but out of the whole article this one bit stood out: "The Veterans Affairs Administration recently announced it would shutter its regional office in downtown St. Louis and move 800 jobs to Overland in St. Louis County". This is actually the story in the story. What's going to happen to the vets who need help now? Is this really needed now with all the hell troops are going through in regards to VA?

SSG Warren Swan Good catch I saw that too. I don't know what is going to happen or what kind of plan they have in place if any to support those that need the center to be downtown.

Notify your local legislature. Probably won't help, but it could. Seems every state is trying to lure businesses from neighboring states instead of creating a climate for small businesses to prosper.

NGA Main HQ (called NCE - NGA Campus East) is in Springfield, VA, just outside of DC. NCW (NGA Campus West) is in St. Louis and is about 1/3 the size of NCE.
