Would you "Chapter" them out without a chance at hardcore redemption?

I think that a retraining brigade with the criteria spelled out in the above message would be beneficial to the service member and the Army. There are some soldiers who made poor choices and with a little retraining can possibly become productive members of the Army.

I remember Retraining Brigade when I got to Fort Hood. To me I would be better than having to just kick the soldier out. We had a soldier get sent to the Navel Brig in SC. he was a good soldier just got caught up in some wrong stuff, but they had the Army personnel doing nothing while making the Marines and the Navy personnel drilling them and work around the compound. I asked the soldier what is with that and why don't they have you guys doing the same stuff, he said they can't do anything because we are Army. Right there would be perfect for Retraining Brigade and it could have saved some good soldier, so yes a Retraining Brigade needs to be reinstated.
