Some people I've talked to think that veterans should be off limits. Just wanted to get more feedback on the matter.

PO1 Calvin Hill - Those same people probably put vets on a pedestal and think because they are vets that when they get out 5,000 jobs should come rolling in. Really is we are just common people doing an important job for society.

Every time we cave to WOKENESS or discrimination we set a new standard.

MAJ Montgomery Granger - I want to down vote this in the sense you are right and accepting discrimination is so very wrong.

I see more good than bad. All of us past, present, and future are links to a rich continuum all the way back to the Continental Army. It is a hallowed continuum. Something to make people proud of for serving.

I think it is ok to go on the record that you served and what capacity but be humble and don't have superior attitude about it. We (Veterans) are just people who came to the call of our country for whatever reason and made ourselves available to do whatever job came up. We are not heroes, just ordinary folk do a job.
