If I rejoin as a prior service, will I be stationed with my active duty spouse?

If you two are enrolled in the Spousal Program, then more than likely. If not, then chances are you will not be.

SGT (Join to see) - Yea, ask your Counselor about the program. Also, ask your wife to see what she can find out on her end.

SGT (Join to see) Dumb question, how much time on station will your spouse have at the duty station you are going to when you arrive? You may have a situation where your spouse comes up on levy just as you get there.

To enroll into the Married Army Couple Program (MACP) your Battalion Commander has to sign the 4187. Since you’re not in a unit yet that may be kinda hard. Your recruiter can check to see if they have slots available for the MOS you have at the location where your spouse is and try to work it from that angle. Good luck to you...

When I sit down with the counselor at meps should I just let them know my spouse is stationed here and I would like to stay here also? If there’s a slot open they’ll put me in that slot?

SFC (Join to see) this question gets asked a lot on RP. There doesn't seem to be a definitive answer for IET/prior service personnel.

Recruiters do not have the ability to look for empty slots for any MOS much less on an installation. For Non Prior Service they can see MOS options only. At MEPS you will be given a duty station or a few to choose from.
