I was just placed on assignment to Fort Dix for OC duty. Anyone have any details for me about the base/area/assignment?

Fort Dix is in the center of New Jersey with a very small town right off base lot of bars in pawn shops. You can enjoy the area more as long as you make sure you have a car has other people have said you're an hour and a half from New York City less than an hour from Philadelphia and the Jersey shore is really nice in the summertime.

How was your Ft Dix assignment? I’m looking into it.
