I’ve been in the Army Guard for 3 months. I’m currently in RSP and ship in November. Do I get to come home for Christmas while I’m at basic?

I suspect you will. Even basic training tends to shut down over Christmas. I went to basic in November, and was allowed to go home for Christmas.

Same here, left for basic around November 3, and came home for Christmas break. I was active duty but we also had guard members as well. I’ll ask my son who is presently a recruiter for the national guard and teaches classes at RSP drills as well.

I was granted “Advanced Leave”. It was definitely needed, although it made it more difficult to ‘earn back’ leave
