Use one "BEST" word to describe how your 2016 ended with (2) days remaining.
It's that time of the year again when we look back and we review what 2016 brought each of us or meant to us. Did we accomplishment our goals, was it a success, was is not what we expected, or could it have been better!
Here is mine for 2016. "Expensive!"

COL Mikel J. Burroughs Wyrd would be the one word I would use to describe my year. Everyone else in my department got a promotion except for me this year, but I got a bigger raise without the change in title. I bought a motorcycle, but broke my ribs taking a riding refresher course (which I obviously needed). Sold off one car, and my daughter totaled the other (thankfully she was not injured. The election brought out the worst in us. The debacle that was the Hillary E-Mail scandal, Trump grab em by the pussy. Britain voting to leave the EU. The failed Italian referendum leading to the Prime Minister's resignation. Police shootings that led to mass protests and attacks on police. Brussels bombing. Terrorists using trucks as weapons driving through crowds of people. The assassination of the Russian Ambassador to Turkey. Every week a different celebrity seemed to be taken. Then as I was writing this, Carrie Fisher passed adding to the celebrity death toll for the year.

COL Mikel J. Burroughs - 2016 "INTERESTING" - 2017 "MORE INTERESTING" - Sandy :)
In a speech in Cape Town in June 1966, Kennedy said:
There is a Chinese curse which says 'May you live in interesting times.' Like it or not we live in interesting times. They are times of danger and uncertainty; but they are also more open to the creative energy of men than any other time in history.
As those who lived through the 1960s will recall -- they were nothing if not interesting.
