How else can I get enrolled into SSD 2 if my unit is dragging their feet???

I was never automatically enrolled once I picked up my 5 in Aug. I asked my last unit before I left and I am now practically begging my new unit to place me in the class. I have yet to receive my orders/offer letter for my AGR position and I would like to complete the class before I start my tour. I have talked called the NCO who is responsible for this and have spoken to her NCOIC and have gotten nothing. I know that the requirements have changed no as far as having SSD 2 and ALC completed before promoting and I surely don't want anything to hold me back for it. Is there someone else that I can contact to enroll me into the class? My PS told me that there is but that's as far as that went. Is it like this for everyone???

CSM Hayden, I am not entirely sure that I am tracking on your advice. I am a brand new NCO and I am asking questions and conducting my own research to learn things that I need to know for my career. I am trying to take control of my career in every way possible. This is a road block for me and I am trying to figure out the best way to get over it. I was told that I had to make 5 first and I did. I haven't been enrolled and I am looking into figuring out why.

There are multiple ways around it. You can go to bn and call your schools nco, your training nco, so on. SSD 2 is a requirement before you go to school. Keep on there feet, and if you have to use the open door policy. Slots per year, that doesn't make any sense. Stay persistent and get what your striving for sgt. Don't listen to all the bs. You got this, keep pushing forward.
