SFC (Join to see), I think these items are worn only when the ASU uniform is worn as a dress uniform (bow tie) and even then it is at the discretion of the local commander.

Thanks LTC Stephen Curlee, I was looking at AR 670-1 para 22-12 d, and it talks about military association medallions. It states you can wear them only in special occasions IAW 670-1. DA PAM 670-1 para 22-7 starts talking about the Medal of Honor and later states that you will wear other neck decorations beneath. That is the only reference I found on wearing medallions. Just wanted to make sure I am wearing it the correct way, since when you go to a Ball, you see different people wearing it different ways. (under ASU coat, Under ASU coat collar)

I found that the different "Societies" have different ways of wearing them. The Sergeant Audie Murphy Club wears the ribbon under the coat lapel. The Order of St. Barbara wears the ribbon over the shirt collar. Other societies wear it under the shirt collar. The societies can decide how to wear the award, as it is an society award, not to be worn any time other than the ceremony or event of that specific society or organization.
