Hillary Clinton seems like a good choice but I honestly don't know who to vote for. Can someone help me with my voting decision?

This will be the very first time for me to vote and I try to not listen to bad media about each of the candidates but it's so much to the point to where I am lost not knowing who to choose. I feel as if I choose Hillary basically her husband will be back in the office and he will be running stuff on the sly. Than on the other hand if I choose Trump I would be ok with the end of the United States as we know it, we would literally just go to World War 5 skipping all the other wars in between. Can anyone help me with my decision?

What qualities do you value in a president?
Trump is a nationalist, i wouldn't be too concerned with his off the wall policies, any of his extreme positions will be moderated in congress. There will likely be no wall, banning of muslems ect... Trump does not have a history in the republican party so its unclear how supportive the republican party will be of him post election, its possible congress will take a larger role and the speaker of the house will become more of a center of gravity for the government.
Hillary is a institutional democrat, her policy will mirror the party line, however she tends to be a conservative democrat so any large social reforms are unlikely. She will likely be stalled out by the republican congress unless they re-balance.
Of the third party candidates, no its unlikely-impossible they will take the election, but this may be the year they can pull enough support to at least make it on the stage and open up our democracy more, I'd encourage you to look into them.

I'll be voting Gary Johnson. He's not the lesser of two (Trump/Clinton) evils.

Politics isn't our cup of tea. Anyone with a uniform should know this, speaking out about the topics regarding our current candidate's for presidency especially regarding views supported or not supported by our current Commander in Chief. Off the record, "slim pickings"

If you plan to stay in the military, vote for Trump. Republicans have taken better care of us. If you plan on getting out and wishing to be supported by the government then vote for Hillary.

NO! No one can help you in your VOTE. YOU must analyze the people running and make a decision about who YOU think will be better at running the country for ALL Americans (you remember the people we wear the Uniform and swear to protect?). We may be wrong but we must make our own choice.
That is part of what being a voter is, not just casting a vote for a specific party but voting for the person we believe will help (or in this case do the least harm) to our country.
Good luck and do some research on your own. Others can help you find data, but you must process it. Even if the Electoral College does NOT vote your way, YOUR vote matters to YOU and to others if you want the right to complain.

Always vote for the person who respects the Military because every nation has to get along with each other.
