I thought I would try this. I would love to get a position that would utilize both my civilian and military experience. Thought I would try something different and see if anyone has any suggestions.

I'm sorry CSM David Heidke, your resume does not meet the format requirements our computers require in order to process your application.

Of course I say that as a joke but I have heard that before. The word cloud is a really neat idea, I would love to do based on my resume as well. I think we all would love a job that marries our civilian experience with our military experience. I think that is why you see a lot of Veterans applying though USAJobs. Yet I think it comes down to a few other factors. The field or industry you are looking to join and how you present yourself to the company. Outside a few different fields, the number of jobs that have a direct crossover between military to civilian is small. I think going about how you are, looking for something that combines the two rather than just focusing on one will lead you to a better result.

This must have come from Taleo... I hate Taleo. If a job posting comes up with a Taleo link, I pretty much write it off... I have no idea why anyone uses it.

I would certainly call you for an interview. The kind of resume that catches the eye. Plus, the fact that you achieved the rank of CSM speaks volumes.

I like the word cloud visual. I did one also. I would at least give you a call based on that and your resume.
