Have you heard that an Iranian court convicted one of our journalists?

Of Course they did! Iran isn't worried at all about the United States. Our government has no teeth. Iran has zero fear or concern of the what we might do.

What actions can we take? Strength is useless if there is no way to apply it for the desired outcome. The only real tactic is a negotiated release.

What will our Commander in Chief say or do about this while he's out raising more funds for DEMS ??

Does anyone else remember the expression "Kangaroo Court"? No it has nothing to do with Captain Kangaroo (then again that person may be lost in antiquity). To be fair, with what passes for journalists these days, I'm not overly concerned with the fate of any who have the arrogance to wander into such places thinking that their status protects them. Americans must remember two things. First, with freedom comes responsibility. Although we have the freedom to go anywhere we damn well please, we must then take personal responsibility for the consequences of our exercise of freedom. Secondly, propagandists (which is the role of most journalists these days) must never fall into the trap of believing their own propaganda. For example, discounting freedom in America by saying that other countries are just as free simply is not true. You may say it to garner favor with the Left in America, but don't act as though its true or you're bound to get burnt in the process.

No but I'm curious if there are plans for a rescue attempt by Seals or Delta Forces...LTC Romanick.

It's all good, otherwise we wouldn't have signed a treaty (oops agreement) with them. Why does the old saying "broken down like a double barreled shotgun" come to mind?
