I was Quartermaster. We spend like none other. And I only worked in a FSB supporting infantry and armor units. As well as an MP and engineer unit. Aviation units spend even more. Just one bolt, not a packet or box, but one bolt cost $50.

CPT (Join to see) - it was a buddy of mine that told me that. She was stationed at Riley. There was also a warrant officer caught building an Apache in his backyard one stolen piece at a time. Gotta love those Quartermasters! Hehe!

Not big enough in these dangerous times, IMHO.

Much of our expenditures go towards defending the world from countries like Russia, China, Iran, N. Korea, and other terrorist-supporting nations.

If we don't do it nobody does; look at the spread of terrorism in the ME after this administration turns its back on our world-wide obligations. Eastern Europe will be next.

I'm sure is out of "control" due to the corrupting influence of the Military Industrial Complex in Congress that Eisenhower warned about in his 1961 farewell address. Incompetence, Inefficiency, Ineptitude, bribes, etc. are other factors.

The other huge factor is the AVM, that while being ¼ in size of what it was in 1973 is costing more than 12 times as much, in pay alone.
