Has anyone ever had their disability rating decreased by VA? How do I address it when I never received notice that they were going to do it?

There are many possible reasons why. Without knowing more about your circumstances it is hard to say. They can reduce rating based on a few factors. Many conditions while rates are listed as those expected to improve. You should reach out to the VA and ask, then you can build an appeal if necessary. Thank you for your service.

If that is true then you should have been informed. Contact the VA and ask for a written explanation. The VFW and DA V will assist. SrA John Monette
