Is this the appropriate symbol? Or are there additional identifiers?

I can't believe you didn't tag me in this. The Triangle denotes a scout type element. It is usually used as a stand alone as a LP/OP. As you know Cav use the single line as usually denotes recon of some sort. For a Fist team you would use something like this. As the unit symbol. You would put it in a box so you could use the size identifier. You wouldn't want to use a huge triangle, that would mean anti-armor. Here is a link that I found very helpful when generating graphics.

SSG Carlos Madden - I will have to look it up later. The Army has ditched most of the pathfinder units. From what I know they fall under aviation BDEs.

CPT (Join to see) - I couldn't find it in the Pathfinder or Map FM's (typical response from a SSG, I know).

SSG Carlos Madden - I looked around and couldn't find it. I am not sure what it would be like. I know the "v" at the bottom is the modifier for Air Assault. They are infantry so it would be some version of that.

CPT (Join to see) - Thanks for checking LT. No one at the Pathfinder school has responded either.

SSG Carlos Madden I have only seen it written as the 'boxed FSC' but here is a handy link for you.
