Does anyone know if Food Service Specialists get stationed in Belgium?

SGT Villasenor - I am stationed in SHAPE, Belgium.  We do not have a US Dining Facility on SHAPE nor on Chievres AB.  I am not tracking anything down in Brussels either, but I am not sure.  My advice would be to drop your PDNCO at HRC a note and see.  There are always those nominative type assignments out there that do not get a lot of visibility and are sometimes offered to those Soldiers who happen to call/email at the right time.  Good luck.

I do not know about cooks but I do know there are food Inspectors there. They usually work out of the commisary/Vet Doc office 

Hello 1SG,  To answer your question I know that there are food inspectors there if that is what you are asking as far as cooks go I am unsure. No matter what service is in charge of the base there is always an Army food inspection presence because the army is the only branch that trains food inspectors. I hope this answers your question.
