Are brown DD214 still in? Because I got a white paper copy. I served 16 years before got out on a medical discharge. Yes so days I miss being back in uniform on base with my soldiers.

Nope, the brown DD214 was a remnant of when DD214s were created on typewriters with carbon paper. Since the creation of a DD214 (except in rare cases) is all digital and printed on office printers, they are almost always standard white office paper (that is, unless for some reason the only available paper at the out-processing center was that ream they got from 'Party World Office Supplies' ☺)

My DD 214 is white, SSG(P) (Join to see) perhaps the camaraderie you can find on RP I’ll ease those feelings of wanting to go back, and

I have my father's off-white one that he received after he left the Army at the conclusion of WWII. As someone may have already said, the color is probably because documents were typed up in triplicate.
