I'm just wondering if any of you got a warm and fuzzy feeling from the SOTU as currently serving and veterans from POTUS. I drew out of it that I being Single with Adult children, I am probably not going to be any better off than I am already. I won't be able to claim my children for 3K deductions and I'm too old to have more. I didn't get the feeling that we (serving and veterans) were that important to him or congress. I know he did a nice little thank you, but the underlying issues are ongoing. It will be interesting to see what the year brings with it. JMO

The only thing I took away from it is a bigger incentive for welfare moms and insolvents - they will get more money per child, which only increases the incentive for them to breed uncontrollably. Idiocracy anyone? Anything for a tax credit....

SOTU never give me warm and fuzzy. I don't live my life by what a president lies about I don't look to them to put my life in order
