I was officially notified that i was being looked at this current qmp board back in april. I am currently 33 days away from PCSing back to the states from Korea and that puts me right about the time they are supposed to release the the notifications. i put in for an extension a few months back to push through the outcome of the qmp board but branch denied it. Does anyone know if you are supposed to PCS after being coded 9L

If you are being involuntarily discharged, then the actual date would be the 1st day of the 7th calendar month (July 1) following the date QMP board results came out IAW Army Directive 2014-06. Because 9L is considered a Bar to Reenlist, memory serves that you would not be subject to PCS. However, there may be provisions somewhere for personnel stationed overseas..... perhaps see if AR 635-200 has anything in it??? Wish I had more for you Kyle, but I have been retired since 2004.

SSG (Join to see), I'm pretty sure all administrative actions - to include a PCS - are only hold during a QMP. Don't know if this is the news you want to hear...
