I just took my record pt test last week but asking can my COC make me take another record pt test if they choose. Before all of you think i am lazy i scored a 276 and passed height and weight. I know the regulations but just asking to see if that ever happened to someone before

I believe they can give them out as often as they'd like. Sounds like someone lost the score sheet...

Or a CSM watched the grading and had issue with it.

If you know what AR350-1 Appendix F says, why are you asking? Are they nullifying the previous record test? Or are they maintaining the record tests and administering a diagnostic? If you read the regulation you'd know the time in between required.

In 1987, my company lost the paper work for about 30 soldiers, we had to retake the APFT the next month. I was so mad I knocked a minute off my two mile run time. Of course it didn’t help that due to that anger I only did the minimums for the push-up and sit-ups. At the time I was a SPC/E-4, living in base housing with my wife. I get a call on Saturday morning; “SPC, you need to report fo the PT field for a record APFT!” My comments, “I took an APFT last month”, my NCO told me the paperwork was lost. So, I had an hour to get there and do it, not a happy trooper!
