I was in the Marine Corps as a UAS operator from 2013-2018. We were awarded UAS wings towards the end of my contract.
I am currently in the Army and no longer a UAS operator and I was wondering if I was still authorized to wear the wings. I know the army has the Basic Aviation Crewmember badge that Army UAS (15W) are awarded upon completion of AIT which is roughly equivalent. For context, the Marine Corps training and army UAV AIT is the exact same and i was in a joint class at Fort Huachuca back in 2014.
I know it's a highly specific question but if anyone can steer me towards an answer that would be awesome!

The Marines don't accept army awards or schools.But the army accepts marine n c o schools. You S1 or Civilian DOD records clerk Should get a copy of your award and have it permed. I was awarded the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge in Gold and it got signed off at the Flag level in a Memo and I-permed. Let me ask some here. COL Randall C. SFC (Join to see)

The Marine Corps does accept some Army awards. One they dont authorize for wear is the Army Service ribbon. Most badges are not transferable like EIB, and CIB as the Corps has no equivalent.
I don't believe the UAS badge can be worn as the Army doesn't have one currently.

The Marine Corps does except Army Awards but only allows those with a USMC equivalent to be worn on the Uniform. Achievement Medals, Commendation Medals, Campaign Medals and Good Conduct Medals would be an example of that. The USMC also accepts most Army Schools though they don't allow some badges.

SSgt Christophe Murphy Thanks for the clarification. I thought differently because I had a platoon sergeant in armor. E7. Master gunner trained. He worked out of china lake as a DOD civilian. He was going to get transferred to the east coast Marine corps base as a DOD civilian. He wanted to transfer to the USMCR back in 2000 when they still had Abrams tanks. They would not accept his 19 series Armor E7 rank and wanted to bust him to E2 and have him go through USMC boot camp.

LTC (Join to see) Every guy I knew who went from Soldier to Marine had to go through Boot Camp. Rank was a different story. Most were Pfc. after boot camp, regardless of rank held in the Army. I did know one who graduated Boot Camp as a Sergeant but he was a former Ranger Battalion SFC.

I Served Six Years In The Corps As A Crew Chief And Wore My Marine Wings. Your S-1 Can Add Them To Your Army Record. Get With Your S-1 And Make Sure All Of Your Marine Corps Awards That Can Be Transferred To The Army Are In Your I-Perms Record.
Some Of Them Can Count For Promotion Points.

You should just be able to work with your S1 to get it added to your record. I imagine it will be allowed as the Army is more pro award/badge/insignia than the Marine Corps is when it comes to pinning it on the Uniform. There are plenty of prior service wearing a long list of badges from their before branch.
