One of my sons who served with the 3/75 Ranger battalion is a prisoner in the Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth.
I expect that prisoners are not permitted to access social media websites such as RallyPoint but I am not sure.
Are federal prisoners able to be RallyPoint members?

Inmates at the USB do not have access to the internet. Cadre and Staff of the USS is also not allowed unofficial contact with family members of inmates. If you would like to pass a message, I recommend you contact the Directorate of Inmate Administration at the USDB for further guidance.

Thanks for confirming LTC Christopher Carpentier. The last time I was at Fort Leavenworth was in 1986.

Maybe Trustees might have authorization and access to tbe internet but doubt it. I worked in the old Castle and none of the inmates had access to the internet.

My son's last name is Ford and I am hopeful somebody with access to the DB prisoners could say hello to my son for me - especially if it was a chaplain.
My son's birthday is December 6.
I know the DB is unique but I don't know how much different it is than other Federal Prisons.

LTC Stephen F. I am sorry for your son's problems and your evident distress. That was a brave post.

They have phones. He can call you but you will have to pay for the call or write. Do you get the chance to go visit?
