I know that they must be up to date with proper medals and awards for the retired. Just not sure about the disabled.

You should be able to wear it under the same conditions as any other vet. I don’t think it matters that you’re 100% disabled.

I would concur with MSgt George Cater on this (good like to BTW). You will want to keep in mind the Air Force's standards for uniform and appearance. I know in the Army AR670-1 governs uniform wear by SMs, retirees and veterans.
