My information tells me that although my information is automatically reviewed for fitness at each senior selection board, my radius will be fixed at 50 miles if I don't submit a request for a greater commuting distance through the Senior Promotion Board Checklist.
I have searched the G1 website for the checklist and can only find the Junior level one. Can anyone help me out here?

The form is fairly generic and as pointed out earlier normally included in the MOI. Other than that your unit’s administrator or any unit administrator, for that matter, could provide you with one.
You may actually be selected by one of the Reserve Central boards but because of your election form not being submitted you are only being considered for vacancies in you 50mile radius.
Additionally you are aware that you are eligible to compete for promotion in any MOS you hold qualification for but you must submit a separate packet for each MOS.
Lastly if promoted to some distant unit you will need to serve in that unit for at least one year then you can change to a unit closer to your HOR and keep your promotion.

I know about the time requirements. There is a Chem unit about 120 miles away that badly needs E7s. I'm hoping to land there.

It should be an appendix to the Promotion Board MOI. There was a universal checklist, but each RRC has been slowly evolving away from that.

Thanks First Sergeant. That universal was what I was expecting, but things have changed since I became SSG and have not kept up until now. With the Sept board approaching, I want to make sure I have my ducks in a row on IPERMS.

I considered him Sir, but I am under the impression that SGM Matthew Quick is AC, and I don't know how much he may know on the RC side. I will reach out to him anyway because I have respect for his replies on here.
