For any participants of Operation Eagle Claw (Iran Hostage Rescue Mission), what can you share about that experience?

I appreciate your looking into it. I worked with 1SG (Ret) George Clark at Magna Vista (VA) High School ROTC for a number of years. He was a locked and loaded Delta Force member in the other C-130 during Operation Eagle Claw; 1980. Years later, 1989, he treated himself to some personalized stationery from the desk of Manuel Noriega during Operation Just Cause in Panama. He said the safe behind Noriega's desk contained tens of thousands of US Greenbacks. Souveniring those was not an option. I wish I had asked him more about those experiences. George was one of several outstanding NCOs I had the privilege to work with during my 26 years in JROTC.
