Are there any mental health resources other than the crisis line and random articles?

I'm currently being medicated for depression and anxiety. My command is aware. Next month we have our rifle qualifications, I tend to have mood drops where I am more depressed than my normal level and consider doing things I wouldn't normally do, like hurting myself in an irrevocable way. Hence my apprehension with drill. I'm aware the military will likely be done with me if the severity of my disorder is known, and I am also aware that my inability to perform and unsustainable medication needs will all likely lead to getting discharged. At this point I don't even care, it means very little to me whether I'm in the military or not anymore. I haven't been able to bring myself to contact my leadership about it. Is there a way to contact behavioral health? If this office exists, I hear all the stories of people meeting with behavioral health but I've never met anyone a part of BH nor have I been able to find any resources about it. Also the only resources my command had for me was the crisis line when I first started worrying about my mental health.

Talk to either the chaplain or your medical provider. Either one can connect you to behavioral health.
As CPT David Gowel said, there is Military One Source. You can also check with Give An Hour and they will find you a therapist. No charge. You are always welcome to join Warriors for Life. They meet most nights of the week.

I don’t know if there are any military or government agencies ! Don’t forget that usually pastors and definitely Catholic priest are professionals with counseling specialties! Most likely you don’t have to be a member to go and talk to them and their services are free. Furthermore many times talking to a friend or another person you trust can be very healthy!

I recommend contacting the Wounded Warrior Project Warrior Carrior network. They should be able to connect you to some inpatient care to help with your issues.
I went through them and attended treatment in Boston for two weeks. They have longer sessions at other clinics as well.
In regards to your unit please contact your chaplain and they will be able to help as well. I know you are hurting right now but I seriously recommend against just stopping from attending drill. It will result in a discharge status that will complicate things as you move on in the future.
