After getting selected for OCS, how soon do you get a school date?

Should receive a school date within the next couple of weeks after selection. The school date could be anywhere from a couple of months to six months out. It’ll depend on availability.

I think it also depends on whether it is state or federal OCS. A ARNG candidate was saying November, but that is state by state if it is a state OCS class.

Suspended Profile
Your branch manager/HRC will give you your orders. Your PCs or TDY is contingent on BOLC dates. Some branches only have 2 to 3 classes per fiscal year. My commissioning date was in June and the last BOLC for the year was in July for my branch. I ended up PCSing since the next BOLC date was January. If your worried about being stuck at benning don’t. They don’t want to keep you nor can they since you now belong to your branch.
