Army SPC Matthew Tattersall, the Paratrooper who gained fame just last week for celebrating his final training jump by bringing his pet fish along with him and filming the experience on a Go-Pro camera, has now faced the wrath of the UCMJ for his stunt.

I'm sure it was the kind of punishment meted out by his company commander and 1SG with a shake of the head and a smirk. As long as his fish doesn't starve while he's on ED, no worries.
Digital photography still hadn't hit its stride in the early/mid-1990s when I was an active duty paratrooper. I can only imagine the kinds of shenanigans we'd have caught on camera, because I (fondly) remember the shenanigans we didn't capture on camera.

I think it was funny and agree with a very light punishment. I the the SPC is a funny dude and his command got it right.

The fish, however... In what universe could he possibly believe bringing a fish on a military jump was a "good" idea.
He hid it, so he knew he was wrong.

I am so glad technology was not around when I was coming up...I would have never got past PFC. An article 15 for this is just over kill, especially if by all accounts he is a good troop and about to ETS. I would have done it anyway knowing I was going to get a company grade though...as I sure he would still do it after this.
