So a 9P code is simply "loss of qualification of PMOS" in a job such as Linguist and others. Does anyone know the options a soldier may have nearing their ETS with this code on their record? Is the soldier eligible for early separation with this code? Can the soldier simply ETS with this code? Any advice helps as the career counselor here is extremely difficult to get ahold of. Thank you in advance.

I doubt your Career Counselor is 'extremely difficult to get a hold of'; they do service 100s of Soldiers though.

In a case with a Loss of PMOS Qualification, you'll need to see your servicing Career Counselor to:

1 - Be processed for separation
2 - A field grade commander determines whether you should be retained or not.
3 - If retained, you'll be processed for a mandatory reclassification.

I know this is an old post SGM but I’m facing this currently and I want to reclass back to my old mos of 91B, I got the 9P for being sub pro in my CLANG and I am in the retrain period of 6 months, my mos 35PAD is over strength and my old MOS of 91B is balanced. I want to go back to being a 91B. Is it possible to reclass back to it now , ( only been a 35P for less then a year ) or do I have to wait and see if I pass the dlpt again, also would I have a better chance of going back to my secondary MOS in a mandatory reclass situation?

9P is a bar from reenlistment in current MOS due to lack of qualification needed. If wanting to get out, you will be able to ETS with no issues as far as I know. If wanting to stay in, you would need to reclassify MOS, which would be needs of the Army.
